Called to Serve

It's here! My waiting and praying has not been in vain! I am going to the New Mexico Albuquerque Mission! And, I will be speaking English. I'm so excited! I leave on October 6th for the MTC. I would love to continue telling you about how great this new part of my life will be, but my phone is going crazy with texts and calls. I promise to go into more detail in a later post!

Is Today the Day?

Wow, it has been forever since I last wrote! I am freaking out right now, wishing that it was 3pm already! After all of this waiting, I know that my mission call has been sent and that it will be here today or tomorrow. I am desperately hoping that it comes today! I have been waiting for over a month now and I really really really want to know where I'm going! Yesterday, I went to check the mail and I found a large, white envelope in our mailbox. I began to freak out at the mailbox, believing that it was finally here. I picked up the envelope, turned it over, and read the name it was addressed to. My mother got an official document from work. Ah! Really? Out of all the weeks that my mom would be sent a document that came in a large envelope, it had to be the week that I'm waiting for my mission call in a large envelope. Man, my dad keeps joking about playing a prank on me about my call. Little did I know that my Heavenly Father decided to get in on the pranking too! Anyway, hopefully you'll hear from me again today or tomorrow and that I will finally have an answer! Keep your fingers crossed friends!
